In a new relationship, most people are very happy. As the relationship goes on, and especially if it hits hard times, most people think they'd be happier single.
I'm currently single and looking after 2 long-term relationships, so I recognize that both have pros and cons. The grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence, but the reality is that it's usually the same.

I am MORE HAPPY SINGLE...I have Peace of Mind, I dont have to worry about someone else's drama and emotions...I have inner happiness, so I dont need a "relationship" to make me feel happiness and love. I have family, friends, and a great career. I'm too fabulous to depend on a man for my happiness.

I was happy single, I am happy married. I would choose the relationship because if I didn't I would suffer a loss--whereas when I was single, I didn't know what I was missing.

I find my happiness is more intense when I have someone to share it with but I also get hurt alot easier. Overall I enjoy being in a relationship but I also need time to myself from time to time.

It depends on the time. On a whole, I am more happy in a relationship. I'm happy when I can give and receive love.

I think for me --being single is alot easier--but nowhere near as exciting! All ups & downs are expected-but to share them with someone special--makes life worth living!
