Not really, outa sight, outa mind. If your not constantly interacting, it's kinda hard to keep your feelings for each other, epecially if it's a new relationship.

the only way distance will increase the intensity of a relationship is if the one who is creating the distance gets off on knowing he has been somewhere else, probably with someone else when he gets home and has reunion activities with the one who probably does care for the jerk.

Yes it can as long as it is not for a long period of time, say 2 weeks and you both are committed to each other. The reunion between you two can be exciting

im actually going through that right now... in my case it did get a liitle more intense but at the same time it got harder...

not really, only if you make a real effort to stay in touch, but after a while you get used to be away......it still hurt but it gets easier....
