And I hope you aren't one of those people who puts apostrophes into "his", "hers" and "its"! The apostrophe belongs in the contraction: "it's" = "it is".

A lot is spelt as two separate words. Alone they each have their own meaning; A and Lot : Canadian language is one of the most diverse languages in the world.
