Had a horrible abusive marriage and started internet dating. Met a guy and we spoke every night for a couple months...he met my sis. He came to my house a couple weeks and we were nuts about eachother.... I went to meet his mom. He left me with her when he went to work he next day (we lived a couple states away so I was staying at his moms house he lived at since his divorce). She was awful to me when he left telling me he had talked about his ex to her and all that. She was evil. When he came home I told him SOME things about it but not all cause he was not so receptive and I did not want to hurt his relationship with his mother. We ended up having a fight.I got drunk and sad..Next day he drove me home two hours away on my birthday morning an ended it. Today I am with someone I love but still think about how horrible he treated me and want to say something since we never spoke again. He told me I would always remember that birthday and I did.

Get over this jerk and his stupid mother now and move on .Don't waste one more second thinking about it . He was a complete as* hole to you and you need to let it go .Concentrate on what is happening now .

No, say nothing, that would be exactly what he would want, then he would take a shot at you and you would have a new issue to deal with.. People like that don't deserve any attention: that is what they want, they want a reaction...don't ever give a guy like that a reaction to his action... If you ever see him again, tell him thanks for treating you so badly as you found the love of your life because of it and you are really happy you didn't get involved any further with "him"... that will fix him..

Throw it away.. forget it, leave it in the past and move on completely..to heck with him..don't let him haunt you like this.

I had something like that happen to me and one day the guy called me and he was all nice and said, "have you met anyone", I hadn't met anyone..at that point, but said "Yes, I have, and I'm really happy"....Well, you should have heard him rant and rave.

Someday..you'll get your chance.. but for now just be happy you have someone to love and who loves you.

No... let it go. Let HIM go. If you're with someone you love focus on that relationship. Just chalk up the past guy to a bad experience. Sounds like he and his mother are both odd. Be glad you found out right away. Instead of fermenting in anger... find the humor in the situation. Oh my gawd it sounds like something which could have been written for "Sex and the City."

Why keep brooding over it? It is in your past, don't relive it every birthday. You must have some birthday that was better than that. If you haven't had one than make a special effort to do something special for your next birthday that you will always remember. Old memories must be replace by new ones.

I'm so sorry that you had such a terrible experience. but this guy from the past doesn't deserve even one moment of your time or thought! he's obviously a total jerk! and he's probably got an unhealthy relationship with his mother! she could be the reason he and his wife got a divorce! and you don't need to spend another moment thinking about him or speaking to him for any reason! do not let yourself live in the past or dwell on the past. you're rid of that guy, and I promise you, you're better off because of it. you're with someone you love now, focus on your relationship with him, and your future. and focus on taking care of yourself and enjoying your life. let go of all that bad stuff from the past, it will eat you up inside if you let it.
I Wish you the Very Best.
