I want to drop off 3 large garbage bags of old used clothes (but many are still in good condition). Where can I drop off these clothes? Some place only take neatly folded clothes, and I just want to drop off some bags and get my tax write off. (Houston - Sugar Land)

I always donate to Good Will, because they provide job training and not just charity.

Teach a man to fish and all that.

Here are some Good Will locations in Houston.

Well without worrying about a tax write off (which won't be enough to matter anyway) homelss shelters that specialize in abused women and chidren would be the best. Look up shelters in the phone book or call the local police station. They need the clothes more than salvation army or something like that, where the general public goes.

Shelters, soup kitchens or where people really down on their luck congregate.
