Hi i was seeing this guy for 2 years, and as soon as we broke up i was so devastated and went into a state of depression, i ended up meeting up with some old friends of mine for some one nighters and it was the best thing i had ever done to boost my ego, then i started seeing this other guy about 2 months after and we were together for about 6 months and we now remain friends, he new what it was all about and thought it was a great relationship we had. I think you need to get your mind off the EX and have a little fun, it really helps.
**Oh and the 2 year guy, he is one of my best friends and he has been trying to get me back since we broke up, he jokes that i am the only one he will really love, i can see myself marrying him, but not until i am ready to settle down. He's out doing the same thing, i love what we have**

Do not under any circumstances date someone as a rebound! This is not fair to the other person. Take some time to get to know what you are looking for in a relationship and a partner before you jump into another one. Spend time with your family and friends, go out and meet people but don't go expecting to find a potential date.

while the wound is still fresh it may be best to keep meetings to a mininum, it will make the healing process alot easier on both of you, and a rebound only works for the moment, and if you tell him about the rebound and you are broke up what is the point, is it to brag about it, I say start something new like a class or volunteer your time

Rebound boyfriends are "over the hump" boyfriends. The get you through the crises, but it's important to know if you really like him, or you are just needing someone. Rebound boyfriends are good shorterm. Don't get too caught-up.

i know how that feels... my boyfriend has dumped me before, well two times, and i love him we are now getting married, if you really know in your heart that he is the one then try to get back with him, and if not then get a huge tub of ice cream and choc. syrup and enjoy!

The best (and quickest) way to get over someone is to get under someone else.
