Someone already answered by saying you could award 10 points for best answer, 11 by rating it thumbs-up first (automatic point), but you forget the two points you also automatically receive, just by answering your question in the first place. So really, you'd be giving 13 points, not 11.

Actually, YOU can't award the 11 points by selecting any answer as the best. Only Yahoo! Answers can. YOU can only award 10 pts.
