Does anyone know the secret how to have a boy? We have two girls and would like to try for another child?

Are there any secrets of having a baby boy or it only depends on luck? Please share your thoughts and suggestions. Thank you very much.

We tried the deep penetration thing to make a boy.... I guess the boy sperm are weaker than the girls, so deeper is better. We also used the Chinese gender thing, had sex all month on the boy months. On top of THAT, I had heard the the woman should orgasm first to make a boy, because of the Ph of your vagina afterwards (don't remember whether it makes it more acidic or alkaline), we did that too. On my 2nd U.S, we found out the sex. All I can say is....... I hope my daughter is born with my hubby's baby blues :-)

This is reminding me of the Maury show I saw a few years back, where all the fathers got up and said that if their wives didn't give birth to a male child this time around they were going to divorce them only cause they have between 2 and 4 girls at home and the wives are pregnant once again. HELLO??? It is called go back to science class! The males determine (inadvertantly) what the sex of their baby will be cause if it was left up to us females we would all be girls. And there is no "proven" way, but I have heard that if you ejaculate in the up swing it will be a boy and if you ejaculate on the down you will have a girl. I on the other hand am pregnant. I prefer being on top and I found out that I am having a boy so if that helps. Good luck!

I know how to get a boy...i have four and no girls. Use ovulation prediction tests and wait till it says your ovulating,before this dont have unprotected sex,when it says your ovulating you should be seeing very wet or stringy mucos when you go to the bathroom and wipe..this means you are at the peak of ovulation and if you have sex now the faster male sperm will get to the egg first.Have sex until your not seeing the mucos anymore which most women only get a couple days at most.My method will work the best compared to people who have one of each gender and swear they know how to get one or the other...they have nothing to compare it to...they only have two kids.I know what i did everytime and i got a boy so next time i will do the opposite and maybe i will get a daughter.

This may sound silly but we had a girl first and we also wanted a boy and a friend of ours gave us a gender chart and that is actually what we went by when I got pregnant with our son. You can search Chinese gender chart and you have to put in your age and it shows the different months and what you would have if you conceived in that month. It may have been pure luck for us but I guess maybe that is what they use in China? Who knows but good luck to you!!

There is a procedure called "Microsort"

This website has some information on the procedure. In a nutshell - They sort the sperm by sex and then do an Intrauterine Insemination or InVitro Fertilization (IUI or IVF) to get it into the uterus. Its not 100% guaranteed but it may work for you. They have clinics all over the U.S. that do this procedure I'd do a search and type in "Microsort" and the name of your city or large city nearby.

I saw a program on one of the learning channels that said female sperm can survive better in an acid environment than male sperm. So make sure you keep your body pH in balance. Eating fruits and vegies more often than meat keeps your body pH in balance. Also, make sure you don't use douches with vinegar in them. Better yet, don't use douche at all. If you really need to, use plain water. My doctor said douching interferes with the normal balance of healthy vaginal bacteria, and can lead to infections. Research also shows that men who wear tight pants have a lower sperm count. The reason is that the scrotum is closer to the body and becomes too warm. The higher temperature is not good for sperm count. Also, research seems to show that having a good zinc level can contribute to a healthy sperm count.

when my husband and i started trying to get pregnant, we really wanted a boy. we looked up things on the internet, and there were different sex positions that were soposto result in having a boy. well we have a little girl. so i guess it didn't work. i don't think there is much u can do. just hope that u do, but if u don't just be happy with it.

I would say why would you want another child for the chance of a son? I have 2 Daughters and my blood line ends with me but I would not want to attempt to have another child just to have a boy. If it was to happen then so be it. If my wife and I chose to have another child just to carry on the family name wouldn't it be ironic if he grew up to be gay?

I helped ensure the sex of both my children (I have a girl and boy) by using a ovulation kit. Male sperm swim faster to the egg but die faster as well, so you need to have sex at the first sign of ovulation. Also, when you and your husband make love he will need to be behind you. Hopefully, my method of madness will work for you and your hubby!

This was actually told to me my biology professor in college. Male sperm (Y) swim faster and die quicker, female sperm (X) swim slower but last longer. So the closer the male ejaculates to the egg the better chance the male sperm have to get a jump start on the female sperm. So if you want a boy, "Go Deep"
