You want what you can't have.
If you act like you no longer care for him, I guarantee he'll suddenly be hurt by the loss of your attention. Make yourself that unattainable object of his desires.

"Always wanting what we can't have" is the truth. First you see something you want. If you get it, you don't need to want it anymore. Because you have it. And life is grand.
But, if you can't have it, then you will continue to want the thing, until you no longer want it. So since you can't have this guy, because he's immature or cowardly, ****** in the head or otherwise unready to date, then you will just have to pine for him until you develop a new crush. Or until he grows up, whichever comes first.
Probably the former (you will develop a new crush). Just be sure to get out there, which will not only allow you to meet new people but will also serve to distract you from painful pining for this dork.
Good luck.

There's this guy I can't stop crushing on either...he has made it perfectly clear to me that there will never be anything between us, but I know what you are going through. All I can say is don't instant message him, e-mail, call, etc...he WILL eventually get in touch with you when you start ignoring him....this is the dumb things we have to put up with as girls...BUT one thing I know I would never want this guy as a boyfriend for what he is going to me...if you can just do different hobbies to get your mind off of him, or better yet, meet someone else, you'll be fine...it will take some time, but trust me, you will get over him...Good-luck

the thing that you should do is not panic, he is only playing hard to get but the guyish way, (yeah i know it sounds stupid, but it's true) go out on a friday night with a guy (friend) and see if your crush is out as well, end up going to the same place as your crush and play the same game. See if he gets jealous and then you have him in your grasp. see if he likes you then, (that's what i would do)

Too a lot of them think of that as quickly as a guy is a jerk to different adult males he's merely performing. he's definitely as extreme high quality as he's round her. whilst in actuality adult males act organic around adult males and placed on an act for women. the quicker they understand this, the extra valuable.

He's playing games. Don't waste your energy here. You can stop crushing on him if you choose to. Why would you want a relationship with someone who plays games????

One word:
Bipolar
I've dealt with a guy like that before and I just have one more piece of advice;
RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't do this with him! Trust me, just don't talk to this psycho again! You'll lose. No matter what happens, this isn't going to work. Better now that you're not "in" love with him. Just run!!!

It's the thrill of the chase my dear. Tell him once again how you feel and if he denies you move on. Don't chase him around.
