Jesus said "I and the Father are one." "If you have seen me you have seen the Father." Among other claims to divinity.
Jesus was falsely accused of all charges, because the "religious" leaders of the day were afraid that they would loose all their power because they knew inside that He was right, but they were to proud to admit it.
Jesus is divine so He is not subject to the laws of Earth like gravity.
Killing animals is not murder.
Nobody says that Jesus was a Christian, it is His followers that are called Christians since they were in Antioch.
Christians do not have symbols of Jesus still on the cross, Catholics do but not Christians, we have the cross and the empty tomb.
Jesus is worthy of all praise honor and glory!!!

Wow, that was a very nice tirade there. I respect all the time and thought that went into it. Not like some who just fling poorly worded, idiotc comments out there, but all this energy is misplaced. I agree with the others, why does what I believe bother you so much. I'm not asking you for your time or your tithes, as it is quite clear that would be a collosal waste of time. So why does it bother you? Unless you're trying to convert some of us, in which case this is a very good argument.
And if that is your point let me take this time to reply to what you've said here. First off, how are we mistaken in calling him Jesus? Is that not his name anymore? Next, if sorcery is what you want to call it, I won't gainsay you, because it doesn't change what he did. It's just a different name and a different way of looking at things. If that's how some people see this act then maybe it will help those who see things this way to understand Christ better. And it couldn't possibly be bootlegging, because wine was not illegal and the wine that Jesus provided was not illegally produced. Furthermore it was not pirated or counter-feited. Next, you are right. Jesus is not a Christian. Christian refers to those who follow Christ, so it can't be applied to Him. He set the standard that we follow. Jesus was a Jew and just because he was proclaimed guilty by them, doesn't make it so. If I say that you're a murderer and get the other 11 people on the jury to agree with me, but you didn't actually kill anyone, it doesn't make you a murderer. As to your statement about Jesus on the Cross, we do our best to keep the truth of what happened unsullied as there is already so much debate about the validity of the Bible. Why add to that by changing what we know is true. And if we did, we'd only be attacked about that anyway. Since I've already addressed the comment about Jesus being a criminal, I'll finish by addressing your statement about worshiping something innocuos. A. It's not really worship of Jesus that people have a problem with, it's worship itself. Because if you don't get how it is that so many people could bow down and pray to something they can't see and has not evidenced any power that you can see, then it won't matter what it is they are praying to. Your problem is with the person doing the praying because you jsut don't get what's going through their minds. and B. If we did worship something like Bugs Bunny or the Washington Monument, problems would still be found. Bugs Bunny would be called homosexual because he kissed male characters on the mouth and the Washington Monument would be a gigantic phallic symbol.

You're right, Jesus himself NEVER claimed Divinity. The person who posted John 1:1, Jesus did NOT say that, some UNKNOWN AUTHOR wrote that about him. And if you study the history of John 1:1 you'll notice the author actually stole that from an earlier writer. Imagine that, the so called Holy Spirit inspiring an unknown author gospel of John to copy someone elses work. Jesus himself said he does NOT know the hour, the end of days. The Gospels all contradict each other, as the Gospels go on, Jesus somewhow says different, things, behaves differently, and also becomes more Godly in unknown author of Johns Gospel. Jesus says he's not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. He cannot do anything on his own, but does it through the Father. All his miracles were NOT HIS, they were from God, just as God did through Moses and so on. When Jesus said I am the way etc, he's right. At his time, people must follow his way to reach heaven, just like at Moses time, he was the way to heaven. Christians tend to make text mean something it doesn't mean, why? Because of the translations. Also, remember he said that Father is greater than I. And to people who will post the verse, the Father and I are ONE. Again they NEED to go to the greek text and see the true meaning. The word ONE, was also used in the text where Jesus says to his disciples that they and the Father are all ONE. So it's no longer a trinity, now it's like 14 people who are Divine with God. Christians NEED to learn more about the Greek texts and translations, because right now they're blindly reading false translations. The Greek text that it was translated from, confirms Jesus NEVER claimed divinity. But all the spanish, english etc translations people enjoy adding words and taking words out to mean something it's NOT supposed to mean.

Boy do you have it wrong.
Jesus (Yeshua Ben Yussif) was a decendant of the House of David and the annointed Messiah of the Hebrews. That means he was what you'd call a Crown prince and next in line to be King of the Hebrews. He was executed by the Romans. Crucifixion was a Roman punishment for insurrection. His crimes was urging revolution against Roman Rule.
He did not practice sorcery. That whole walking on water thing was Hebrew symbolism for the fishers of men who were hauling in their catch. they were saving souls. He didn't actually walk on top of water. That would be silly.
Water was added to wine in ancient days at wedding ceremonies to make the wine go farther. Wine was expensive.
He was a Orthodox Hebrew. Christianity came about in the 4th Century and was a Roman invention. How could he practice something that didn't exist?
You should really see a psychiatrist or something, or better yet, READ A BOOK ONCE IN A WHILE. Who knows, get an education and maybe the voices in your head that keep telling you that you should cut yourself will go away and you can take the tinfoil off your head and off your windows.

What is the Mishnah?
http://www.jesus-messiah.com/html/roots.html
quote:
=============================
The Mishnah is the early Talmud or the forerunner of the Talmud. To the Mishnah the rabbis later added the Gemara (rabbinical commentaries). Together these comprise the Talmud. Scholars will claim that the Talmud is partly a collection of oral traditions given by Moses which had not yet been written down in Jesus' time. However, Christ condemned the traditions of the Mishnah (early Talmud) and the Scribes and Pharisees who taught it, because their oral traditions contradicted the teachings of Scripture. The severe warnings of Jesus Christ regarding the traditions of men which make null and void the Word of God (Matt. 15:1-20; Mark 7:1-13) are a reference to the Mishnah:

Why are you quoting a Jewish Mishnah when Jews don't believe in Christ ? Why do you claim it was sorcery when it was the power of God? Why do you say a man being murdered by the government is a homosexual? How do you know he was half naked if you weren't there and we have no photographs? Where in the Bible does Jesus deny His divinity?
Sorry, you are wrong on all points. And you know it...

Because, as Paul said, there are false prophets in the church who will deceive God's own.
The Jews killed most of the prophets, remember. Just because they Killed Jesus is no indictment of him, in fact, his death is prophecied in Psalm 22. another prophecy is that he would be rejected by his own people.
He did not infect the horde, the devils did that.
I agree that the symbol of him on the cross is offensive. That's a catholic thing, most other denominations have an empty cross. some have the "holy spirit dove", as a symbol not as an idol.
Jesus in hebrew means "god with us", his name is Yeshua (Joshua), and there is another man of God named that, it doesn't make him God either.
until the mainstream christian church backs away from the lie of the trinity, they will be the laughing stock of the world.
You owe it yourself to seek another source for what the bible says. I highly recommend the link below.

Matthew 26:63-66 63 But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest said to Him, "I adjure You by the living God, that You tell us whether You are the Christ, the Son of God." 64 Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven." 65 Then the high priest tore his robes, saying, "He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, you have now heard the blasphemy; 66 what do you think?" They answered and said, "He is deserving of death!"
Luke 22:67-70 67 "If You are the Christ, tell us." But He said to them, "If I tell you, you will not believe; 68 and if I ask a question, you will not answer. 69 "But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God." 70 And they all said, "Are You the Son of God, then?" And He said to them, "Yes, I am."
Ah, so Jesus never claimed to be the Son of God. Too bad you know your Mishna, but not your Bible, nor the Son of God which is the Savior of the world.
The "crime" for which Jesus was crucified was nothing other than blaspheme; because he claimed to be God. The testimony of one of the two thieves was that they diserved what they were getting, but "And we indeed justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong."Luke 23:41
Jesus did nothing wrong, can you say as much?

When you want to know something about Jesus Christ, read the Holy Bible. You wouldn't go to a law school if you want to become a doctor. So why go to some other source for information about Jesus other that His Word. Someone who don't know what they are talking about will say anything. Let us become well informed before we start making outlandish statements. Okay? May God Bless

I was in total shock for a minute when I read this question of yours. Why are you so angry about what we as Christians believe? Jesus is the one and only Son of God. He created you. I read some of the answers that were left for you using scripture from the Bible. I am certain that you disregard any Biblical referances. The Bible is the truth, but I know you are probably going to deny the information that was provided to you. It is a sad state of mind that you are in. I will certainly pray for you and also pray for any innocent victims that you have mislead with this blasphemous remark about the God who loves you. He loves you so much that He sent His Son to die for your sins, as well as the rest of the world. Yes, I am referring to Jesus. He did this for you!! I'm sure that you must have a very empty life. It's not to late to turn things around and become a happy person who is not so bitter. All it takes is for you to pray to God and ask Him to help you understand. Not without faith, and with an open heart. Please seek any other answers from your local church. I am certain any pastor of a Christian church will be glad to help you. Don't look for sadness and anger from the world. Look to God for the right answers. Do not intentionally misinterpret God's word. You seem to have read some of it. Do not twist it all around to make it seem evil and bad. It is God communicating with us. I pray that God will help show you the truth. God bless!
