Hey just got back from Paris. It really depends on what kind of enviroment you would like to stay in. Go to lastminute.com for some great deals on Eurostar etc.
You dont need to be smack bam in the middle of the city because there is the metro and it is so quick and so cheap to get around. However, do not make it your only means of travel make sure you take the sightseeing bus and the riverboat cruise especially at night! If going up the eiffel tower make sure you are wrapped up VERY warm as it is very cold up there and have to wait in a queue to get DOWN!

We paid £a hundred and one.sixteen for one million room/4 nights on the main advantageous classification in Bussy St George. I'ts a 40 5 prepare trip into the centre of Paris, yet is barely 10 minutes remote from Disneyland Paris. it is totally problem-unfastened, yet you spend all day sightseeing besides.

I'll suggest you hotel Ascot Opera - rue Monsigny no.2 (arr.2). It's a small one, but very well located, very close to the "must see" places of Paris. Bon voyage and a wonderful vacation !
