We broke up 5-6 months ago after a two year relationship... and occasionally have gotten together a few times in between. Everytime we're together, I get irritated with her for her non-stop talking... but when we're not together, I miss her a lot. Anyone have any ideas? For any smartasses out there... move on. You're dumbass comments are not needed.

It depends. If you're the one who broke it off, then maybe you're regretting it. If she broke it off, then you're not allowing yourself to move on by having contact with her. Sounds like either way, you don't know what you want.

Sometimes it is hard to end a relationship that is not good or healthy for us; however we still have feelings for them. When you truly love someone, you will continue to love them for a lifetime, but not all relationships are meant to last a lifetime. You would have never risked losing her if you truly loved her. That doesn't mean that you don't care for her, or miss some of the things about your relationship, maybe you had great chemistry together, or maybe you really like some of her personality traits. Dating is meant to give you the chance to find out what you are looking for in a lifetime partner. Your time to date her is over, and now you must move on and find happiness elsewhere. Breakups are never easy or painless, someone is going to inevitably get hurt, yet breakups are a necessary part of the dating process; otherwise you wouldn't be able to find that perfect lady that will one day take your breath away. When you find that perfect love you will never risk losing her, for now....take care of you so you will be ready for her when she shows up.

I think you both should try. I mean it sounds like you both care about eachother. You just gotta work on it. And about her talking.. I really wouldnt worry about it. I mean i went out with a girl who talked alot and i still liked her. Maybe you should just deal with it to see if you two were really meant to be.

that feeling is very normal--missing what you now don't have

just hard to let go of the past--because we have that comfortable feeling with it

do yourself a huge favor---MOVE ON!

don't become a slave to the past relationships you have had!

Maybe you still have feelings for her? Just a little guess.
