Well, I personally don't see much wrong with a hug, but I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings by giving the impression that there's a chance between us oranything. What he did s considered pretty nice as most guys will just string you along and avoid the issue. i think I'd feel kind of sad for her..

I'd feel wanted, which would certainly boost my ego. But if I genuinely wasn't interested, it'd also be annoying, and I'd feel compelled to say something, instead of letting the poor girl think she had a chance. Gotta be cruel to be kind!

I don't think it takes a guy to answer this, the person is going to feel uncomfortable. No one wants someone doing that to them if it's uninvited. A friendly hug sorry is fine. All Over someone is desparation and looking for validation. If the guy doesn't like you, move on. Stop trying to "convert" him!

I would not be offended by a hug at all. Unless I thought you were hideous, and then I wouldn't be letting you tickle me in the first place.

ok that's 2 questions for the price of one.

If I didn't like her other than a friend...than that's what it'd be.

now you say shy guy...well maybe I like her and don't want to admit it.

I'm 46 nearly 47 now...but when I was younger...well...I'd just do it and run...being my age now and a single person...I think I'd have to be honest with her and tell her I'm not interested....if only we knew then right? with that said...he needs to tell her if he's not interested....and maybe he's just too shy...maybe she just needs to molest him and get him over his shyness.
