I think that is a belief that makes people sleep at nights...but do you really think that being reincarnated is a good thing..IN my opinion it is the same as you not being reincarnated, because you have no idea of your past life, how you lived it. you have no memories, or anything? so what is the point to believe you are some reincarnation, reincarnation is the same as you not being reincarnated, the human conscience focuses on that which it understands and can comprehend, so it is hard to believe you once had a life that you somehow can't remember....who invented this concept of reincarnation?

just coz u'r missing many pieces of the puzzle doesn't mean the end picture doesn't exist.

some people do remember their past lives and other people have used hypnosis to call these memories up. and others still who walk the peaceful path, like me, spending our hours learning to listen to our own hearts, we do learn to remember bits. i don't remember details of my past lives but i believe i came into this life already knowing things that others are learning for the first time or, in many cases, things that others are not even ready to learn yet. but i'm not an advanced soul, maybe not even intermediate. i've been thinking of undergoing past life regression, especially in my low days, but i'll keep putting it off until i can find a good enough reason to coz we're meant to figure it out for ourselves, that's why we're here in the first place.

of course i asked the same question of the amnesia, who doesn't? the answer i received was that it's necessary so that we enter each new life with a clean slate. but even so it's only part amnesia. the soul retains everything through all the lives and in fact there are some people who suffer from injuries or traumas sustained from a previous life.

You might be confused, but the Christian who studies the Bible is not: 1) Christians believe that humans either go to Hell or Heaven. But there are too much confusions - a) What happens to the people who had no idea what Christianity was? Romans chapter one answers this question. b) What is the "age of accountability"? Will a 10-year old who thinks God is fake and Christianity is based on lies go to Hell? If the age of accountability is until 12, will 12 years and 1 month-year old child go to Hell if he does not believe in God? The age of accountability is not like the age at the movies when you must pay full price. Every child gets there when God, Who knows that child better than his parents, decides he gets there. In other words, its not one set age for all. Its a different age for each child and God knows when that is. That teaching comes from 2 Samuel chapter 12 and Matthew chapter 18. If you still have questions after reading those two chapters, ask again. c) If evolution is proved, doesn't that mean that the Bible is a lie since it says humans were created by creationism, not by evolution? Evolution has been proved false, many many times. However the followers of the religion of Darwin refuse to accept that science. By the way, I'm talking about scientists who have proved it false. I'd also suggest you read Luke 16 and note that the story about Lazarus and rich man is NOT a parable. The story in Luke 16 is NOT defined as a parable, and two people are named in the parable. In no parable of Jesus does Jesus ever name a person. In Luke 16, Jesus names two people. As you proably recall, Jesus was crucified between two thieves. One of them repented. Jesus said to him, "Today you will be with me in Paradise." Paradise is another name for Abraham's Bosom which is described in Luke 16. See Luke 23:43

This thing has cought me for long. Yeah it makes sense. HOwever the holy book says that a person who has not done any sin takes birth in a better family, who has chance to live between good people, so he does good and goes to heaven at last. So, remembering anything does not come to point. I dont completely believe it, but it makes sense.

all you need to know is when adam and chaooah the two wittnesses, are resurrected from the dead. they shall be the very same adam and chaooah as before here in TheTorah, in this second comming of adam. given another chance, in back to the same future without repent, to see if they can correct their screwing up, from the last time here in Parashas Bereeshees. this is due to TheG-D saying I forget your sins. so therefore you are not being returned with any previous memory. because G-D said so, for G-D'S Reasoning, even if beyond your comprehension.

What difference would it make whether you remembered past lives or not? How would that change the way you live this one? I believe in reincarnation and don't see any use in remembering past lives.

I thought if it was true each time you learn lessons and evolve i hope to be better. If you fail I think your fate i to deal with these situations again and hope for a passing grade.

I have also thought that when you asend either god is to powerful and you must return or you become filled with all knowledge and you are asked if you want to return to experience life and do works.

You CAN know what happened in your past lives, as it is all buried in your subconscious mind. You just need to hypnotize yourself. Being reincarnated is a good thing, because you get a chance to work out all you debts to the universe.

Luminary,

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but there is no such thing as reincarnation. You will either spend eternity in Heaven with God after you die, or you will spend eternity in Hell.

I pray to God that it will be the first one.

It's just another way to comfort themselves that there's life after death. They fear death so they make up stories about it to make themselves feel better.
