Hi, I bought a Black USB 2.0 MP3 Player + SD/MMC Card Reader. I have no idea what that means, lol. I need to buy a memory card for it, but don't know what to do. I already have a 516 MB card for my digital camera, will that work on the MP3 as well? Are they universal, or MUST I get a SD/MMC card?

I'm just confused. Can anyone give linkss too, to ones for sale. I am hoping I can use the one I already have. ANY help is appreciated

I'll hazard a guess or two.

It *sounds* like you got a MP3 player that, when plugged into a USB port w/ cable, will also act as a reader/writer for the memory card type SD/MMC. If you want MP3, just write MP3s on the card, and the player will play them.

As I have no idea what type of card your digital camera uses (or even what brand it is!), I can't say if it uses SD/MMC or not. Other formats include CompactFlash, MemoryStick, miniSD, and xD.

Flash memory isn't that expensive nowadays. You can get 1 GB SD card for about $40 at CompUSA. I imagine other stores have similar prices.
