Do they whisper sweet nothings into your ear, do they take time away from their buddies to spend it with you? Do they still surprise you with gifts just because? Do they still look you in the eyes and say that they love you and mean it? Just wondering.

my last boyfriend did everything except the gifts and the poetry. I found it sweet, but that it put me in the awkward position of being grateful everytime. I think that it unnerves most women because we live in a society where women are increasingly self-reliant, and are not used to guys being chivalrous. It might make them think that the guy is looking down on them.

Yeah right I struggle to get my husband away from the TV and his computer. Fat chance I'd have getting him to write poetry or go for a stroll. His does open doors for me I must admit. Once he bought me a foot spa and when we moved I gave it away - guess what I got for my next birthday - a foot spa which sits in the cupboard.

almost continually, and that's a high quality gesture and that i admire it, yet i don't anticipate it. I guard the door open for each individual. i've got self assurance human beings could save the door for others in spite of intercourse. it is merely a well mannered concern to do.
