Honestly, there are two answers here and no one can really diagnose you on line.
The first potential dianosis is "adolescence." Seriously, if you're between the ages of, say, 11 and 14, you just feel like an 11-14 year old. No one feels like they fit in. No one likes themselves because everyone feels awkward and "different." Hormones are raging as your body changes and basically, it just SUCKS being this age. Yes, it is normal. You're growing into your body and your opinions of yourself. You should concentrate on maintaining a good self-image, since you will carry this with you for a long time.
Remember, no matter what anyone says, you are in all likelihood completely normal.
Now, the other diagnosis. Everyone feels "sad for no reason" sometimes." But if you seriously find this disrupting your school work or your social life...if you feel like you can't function because of this sadness...then you may need help. This does not mean you're stupid, or even abnormal. Just that some people need help during certain times in their lives to cope with their stressors, either because they have a lot of stress or because they don't have the fortitude to deal with whatever they DO have. Nothing to be ashamed about. Just talk to someone who can get you help...parents, a guidance counselor, a friend.
Good luck! I'm sure you are fine...

Well as to whether this is normal, I am going to have to say that all depends on your age. If you are 20 something and thinking these thoughts then NO this is not normal. If you are a teenager and thinking these thoughts then yes, this is quite normal. It is called hormonal changes and you will go through several by the time you reach my age (27) and many more if you ever decide to have children. Now as to what you should do...well let me just say that each person is made different, to look different and if your Higher Power (that is what I call God cause not all people believe in God but could believe in another Higher Source) wanted every one to look the same then I am afraid this world would be pretty boring. Besides I know from personal experience, I was quite mousey as a teenager. Stringy hair, acne, the whole nine yards. I grew out of it and became quite pretty. Or maybe that is my new outlook, either way, I know of some people who looked absolutely gorgous in school. I was really jealous, but it turns out that most of those that are pretty on the outside are pretty superficial on the inside. Your outside appearence does not matter, it is what is on the inside that truely matters.

You sound like someone that needs to get out of yourself, go find some friends that will believe in you. Find a sport, get outside do something around other people.
You were probably told all your life you stupid, dumb, ugly etc.
Find an interest in something, and go for it. Do not just stay on the computer or just watch TV I do not know where you are from, but there is no place on the face of this earth that you cannot find some out door activity you can do.
Also, Remember who created you and HE did not create JUNK
There is good in everyone! Start doing good deeds for people, The elderly need friends to help them get things at the grocery store, they need help mowing their lawn, shoveling snow getting thier mail in the winter if it is a snowy place. If you drive a car, there is government jobs out there through your state where you can drive people to their Doctor appointments. So much to do to make you know that God made you a useful person, and you do not need MONEY to do some of these things.
Go to a church that has people your age and start to go there and learn to LOVE GOD, HE will teach you to LOVE yourself.

You need to break out the mirror and start noticing your beauty love. I used to have that problem until I discovered my beauty not just on the outside but the inside most importantly and I grew to like myself. I was normally really quiet and reserved but once I got warmed up and stuff I got shot down a lot and that made me sad, but I realized, if I am being funny and not stupid I have a right to be heard and not disrespected. So anyhow, I learned to stop taking myself so seriously, and when i did I felt better.

Everyone goes through this stage in there life, some worse than others. Talk to a parent about it, make it known that you are concerned for yourself and you need them to mature about it, cause most parents will be sarcastic(if there like mine). If you don't live with your parents, talk to teachers, elderly friends with experience or good old fashioned grandparents. I'm shore all these people love you, and you'll get some advice cause personally I haven't been though that stage so i cant help, but family always can. Good luck and God bless.

You should never compare yourself to others, that's just not right. Everyone is unique and you have special qualities that no one else has. You are very hard on yourself.
You need to do things to build up your self-esteem. If you are a teen, you have hormones that are causing your body to change and that includes chemicals in your brain. This can change your moods.
It is best to take good care of yourself; eat healthy, no sodas, no fatty foods, get exercise, fresh air, sun, etc. Make friends and do positive things together; homework, volunteer activities, church youth group, etc.
Do you have God in your life? He guides your life and loves you.

Oh sweetheart you are just a girl. If you think your friends are prettier than you than embrace it and be proud that you're in with them..some of their self confidence will rub off on you...and even the pretty ones have problems..more, actually.

everyone feels like that at times. We get sad or depressed or weepy. Sometimes we feel fat and ugly. It's hormones. You're not stupid, you're normal. You need some exercise and healthy food.
