Put it this way... if you eat 10 times a day.. then floss 10 times a day!! After every meal or snack... FLOSS!! The only harm that will occur is if your flossing to hard. And by this i mean.. if you floss and hit your gum to hard causing pain or bleeding. Doing it to hard you can iterally cut your gums, if your rough. So the only harm you'll do by that, is causing your own self pain/ tenderness. Bottom line... floss every time you eat... and do it gently!

It does no damage to your gums. If you dont floss at least 1 time a day you gums would be bad. But you floss 3 times a day so they would be the best they would be. (:

As long as you are gentle to your gums when you're flossing. It would be better to floss after a meal.

Not from what I understand....my dentist told me that when you floss ...it helps to remove or displace the bacteria that finds its way in the crevices of your gums! So,no...you can't over floss!! You probably have really healthy and strong gums...the healthier your gums the healthier your teeth will be!!!

No. In fact the hygienist told me to floss after every meal and particularly after supper so food doesn't stay caught all night.

No, it's actually good as long as you don't make the gums bleed or get too vigirous with it. Just getting the food out is good enough.
