I've bought a precooked/ smoked turkey, we were gonna warm it in the deep fryer, but can't afford the oil, so it wall be warmed in the oven. We're also gonna have green bean cassarole, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing and I'll probably make home made biscuits, more because I forgot to but dinner rolls, for desert I bought a mix for cherry cobbler and apple crisp. This year will be a little different we're not going to be able to have the big family get together as normal, it will just be my hubby, kids and the hubby's best friend.

Based on the last two years (as I've been sharing Thanksgiving with my roommate's family as mine is in FL), 1-2 turkies, 2-3 different kinds of mashed potatos (last year there were three: regular, seasoned, and sweat potato/yam), green beans (possibly in cassarole form), stuffing, and something pumpkin. Last year: Home made pumpkin cheesecake. Yum XD

Just follow the recipe for green bean caserole on the can of French's fried onions. That's what I do and it turns out well.

In the superstore, fruits are usually selected far too soon. Some are rocks, many are wrong. Some of the fruit and vegetables are generally right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.

When you cook the turkey, make sure you brine it. Nothing worse than a dry turkey. Ever since we started to brine the turkey, it's been tastier and doest stick to your throat like putty.
