They have me on Remeron, 15 mg, Klonopin, 0.5 mg, and trazadone for sleep, 100 to 200 mg. I told my doctor that I have tried almost every antidepressant out there with no success whatsoever and asked him to please not prescribe any to me. Of course he did anyway. I only went back to the doc. in an attempt to get a non habit forming antianxiety med, which he did prescribe the klonopin for. I can't even feel it working. I feel fatigued and more depressed and anxious than ever. I have no medical insurance so I cannot just walk in and see this doctor when I feel the need, which I do...to discuss how horrible the drugs are making me feel, not to mention that I guess I'm now addictied to these meds. I did research on the internet on each of them and I to my surprise I found that these pills are all habit forming and not to be stopped without the permission of your doctor. I'm really looking for a medical doctors advice, and/or anyone who has taken this drug combo or similar.
Help!!

Is it possible that you are bi-polar?

I was on and off antidepressants many time over the years. They never really seemed to work for me, though eventually my depressions lifted.

During my most recent (and most severe) depression, after two years of trying various antidepressants I went into a phase where my mind started working faster and faster. I eventually realized what was going on and told my doctor that I suspected That I might be manic-depressive and that we were treating the wrong illness.

Are you suicidal or have a mental disorder that requires these drugs? If not, you don't belong on them in my opinion.

There is something that is natural that is good for depression called phenocane in health food stores. Check it out, discuss it with a naturopath thoroughly. Tell your doctor you want to try it. Don't attempt to mix it with what you are on now though. That needs to be out of your system for a while. Get specifics from the naturopath and your doctor. Meds take a while to work, sometimes a few months which is why you don't feel much. If this doctor isn't working in your behalf, get another one. You should also be in counseling discussing your feelings, are you?

Over the last five years I had begun to have increasingly withdraw into a downward spiral of depression..

But now with the method I can fully focus my energy and thoughts into a decisive line on how to make my life better constantly. And it works like magic! I'm beginning to attract people to me once again and things have just been looking up since then.
