Personally, I think it is. At that age you really should be enjoying the innocents of being a kid. There is plenty of time for a bf in the rest of your years.
Enjoy your youth.
Don't feel that you need to have a bf because everyone else does.
I am 16 and never had one.
5 of my friends are 17 and never had one.
The nicest girl I ever knew graduate from high school without having one. (Although she did go with a guy to senior prom) *They are just friends now.

Yes, 11 years old is too young to have a boyfriend or romantic relationship. Most children that age have trouble understanding what a relationship is supposed to be about, and don't know about the risks of pregnancy or STDs.

11....hmmm.. such a young, CURIOUS, NAIVE age.....I remember when I was 11 :o) its an age where you could tell her "youre too young" but that would just make her want to have a boyfriend more because she's learning about things and she wants to explore the world for herself. If she likes him, she'll talk to him anyway. Talk to your daughter about sex and boys. Give her a good idea about what relationships with boys should be like at her age. otherwise, shes just going off of what she sees on TV or hears on the radio(which isnt very good). Be open with her.

Yes its too young. I would say 15 or 16 might be an appropiate age to have a bf but providing them with good counseling and advice.

yes i do believe that 11 is far to young to have a bf and if he loves you he would wait for at least a few more years like when you are 16, and if you still want to go on dates you will be chaperoned by one of your parents.
and in retrospect don't rush into romanatic relationship cause you've got a lot of growing up to do

Yes, 11 is too young. At your age, you should focus on school and having fun. Take it from a college student, I know what I'm talking about. :)

11? Are you kidding me? I'm not trying to be mean, but gosh when I was 11 years old I was still playing with Barbies. Oh my gosh...please get involved in hobbies or sports and don't waste your time on boys yet.

I don't think 11 is to young to have a "bf". I think a "B" grade average in Elementary School is great, and not a "F".
