Rapture would be postponed, on public demand?

I've always had a hard time with the rapture. There are all sorts of theologies about it. I just accept that I should do the best I can, with what I have, and then, what happens, happens.
If certain people believe some things like this and can justify it in their mind, then ok. If I see and perceive something, I will communicate it as true. You may not have perceived and seen what I saw, thus you will be a skeptic. That is how reality works.

Many Christians-and I'm one of them-don't believe in the rapture. I think the Christians that do believe in it are basically afraid of the end times as they are described in the book of Revelation.
Anyway, why would all Christians become Atheists???
Sorry, I just can't see that happening.

Poetic justice? Irony perhaps? Hopefully humans will evolve enough to become humanitarian-style atheists and usher in a type of utopia rather than get blown-up by religious freaks and make our planet have to start all over again with a new species on top. We will see.

If you are a true Christian, you cannot just become an atheist. If you are a true Christian, you have the Holy Spirit and are sealed - there is no turning back. So that is an untrue statement, as it cannot happen.
