Good question. They are changing the laws here in NC to make it possible for the state and local police to finally be able to act accordingly with criminal trespassers. I am so happy about it. Maybe they can get rid of at least some of them.

I am married to an Illegal Immigrant and he was stopped for not having a headlight. My husband was taken to jail for No Insurance, no drivers License, and no head light. His bond was set very high...it is not that they will not arrest them, its just so hard for the police to know if they are legal or illegal. They have to actually check it with INS and it takes too much time. If it is a serious crime then an INS hold will be put on them and they will not be able to bond out of jail. Legally they should have these things. Now there are many companies that offer insurance to people who have a D.L from another country and thats how my husband is driving now. It is a legal drivers license.

No, illegal aliens also have to follow the laws of this country.
They will be put in jail if they kill someone, or rob a bank or molest a child.

When the cops catch these aliens, by law the cop asks them for insurance and drivers license. Cops ask everyone that. Here in California, aliens who can caught are fined and sent to court like everyone else. If thier cars have no valid registration, it is impounded.
Cops have the right to pull over anyone who drives a vehicle on the road. That is their job.

I've got news for you. We ARE allowed to pull over illegal aliens. The Border Patrol has explicit constitutional and legislative authority to detain ANYONE in the country that he/she suspects is here illegally.

While most cops at the local and state level must have reasonable suspicion to make a roving patrol stop, a BPA can pull a vehicle over anytime to verify a person's citizenship.

In the case of Chicago however Border Patrol Agents aren't exactly everywhere, but illegals are still always subject to deportation and/or prosecution.

As citizens if we are pulled over by a cop, he will ask for a driver's license, proof of insurance and registration.

I don't see how the cops can let someone go if they don't have those things. Someone said how can anyone tell if they are illegal. Well I would think that would be enough evidence right there.

It's disgusting how illegals are getting a free ride in the U.S. And the rest of us have to obey the laws.

Illegals are required to have all this things, just like anyone else sharing the road. I don't know where you get your stories from, because you are misleading honest people that may buy it, but it is nonsense.
And I just have a real story to share:
My cousin came to visit, legally (with a passport and visa), he was driving, was pulled over on my car, he was let go, driving with a Mexican license, but given a citation in court. I had to go with him, waiting on the court date, his visa got expired, was pardoned because he had to stay to go to court.
I had insurance for the vehicle, in Georgia, if you don't have insurance, you get arrested, you may not have a DL, and then you get a court citation, regardless of INS status.

Because they are not citizens of the country, hence not officially recognized by the government, therefore law enforcment cannot do anything to these people since they've no papers to indicate they are even here in the first place. Damn aliens.

Just wait and see now what other perks these illegals get now since the dems are in control. If you think they get free stuff now, hold on and watch what the dems do to protect these people who break the law.

ha ha maybe they have extraterritoriality. Actually I think so many people cry racism, its now called racial profiling. I'm still not sure why some people think illegal aliens is considered a race.
