Right. I think it`s because I`m right handed. So I must be right footed too!!

Some people have a theory that if you are right handed you'll put a sock on your right foot first every time and if you're left handed, the left one first. If I'm sitting, I just lift a foot and slip it on...it varies. If I'm standing and putting on socks, it's my left foot first because I balance better on my right leg then my left. I'm right handed. So much for theories.

I remember a Zen story, where a CENTIPEDE (a type of worm, which has flattened body composed of from 15 to 173 segments, each with a pair of legs) was asked more or less a similar question that when it starts moving, which leg it moves first. After being asked this question, the Centipede tried to find out which leg it moves first and got confused about which leg to move first. Then it could not move even an inch due to the confusion. Then on seeing his condition one of his friends advised him to try to move without thinking. Then it started moving as usual. The justice of the story is, if we start thinking too much on trivial issues, we'll be confused and we will not be able to act.
By asking a similar question, you have confused all. But you can't confuse me, becasue I don't wear shoes. I'm quite happy with slippers.

Depends on if the socks are matching or not. On odd numbered days (except in leap years) I put light colored socks on my right foot first. On even numbered days I do the opposite. But if the socks are miss matched in a leap year I do the opposite of what I would do in a none leap year in none leap years do the opposite of leap years.
