I havent had a drink ( alcoholic beverage in over 3 months) sshould i go and hit a ocal bar and have a great time? the thing is . none of my peeps have the time to go out with me... they are busy doing school work, or hanging out with family. I dunno how it wil feel like going to a bar alone!!!! it will suck right? or il look pathetic/lonely.
i just recently moved here its my first semester here in this school.

im not alcoholic guys. i just drink occationally or rarely.... just to pass some time.. as i said .. i havent had a drink in over 3 months ...:) dont worry im not an addict.

Go out alone. It can be fun sometimes. Just pull up a chair at the bar and grab a beer...watch a game maybe. Don't go to a "club" though...hit a sports bar or a pub type place. Chances are there will be some other singles you can talk to...maybe a pretty girl you can buy a drink for and start up a conversation with. I'm a girl, and I've gone to the pub alone. If I can do it, so can you.

Sometimes, I do stuff alone like going to the movies, going to the malls, going to places I've never gone to. I usually try things alone since I can't get any friend/s since they are busy. Well, sometimes it's fun to try things alone and I do have fun; though it's more fun to be with someone whether a family or friend. Going out alone also often makes me feel independent. So why not try going to the bar by yourself? Just for experience and see if you're gonna enjoy it. ;)

Instead of going for a drink why not go for movie or a walk through the mall somewhere.You may find someone worth getting to know and that would be alot better than a drink.It may even lead to more fun things on different nights.

In my opinion guys can get away with going to a bar by themselves. It's women who look bad by themselves. Just go and sit at the bar for a while. You'll probably recognize someone or maybe even just strike up a conversation with someone. Go have some fun!

First of all, you should stop calling your friends 'peeps'.
Then see if they come around more.
If not, then (still refraining from using the word) go out and have a good time. You may make new FRIENDS, you never know.
(Just remember about the word or you'll be back at square one again)

Dude, don't worry. I go out by myself all the time.. And you're only gonna look pathetic / creepy if you're cowering in the corner, drinking by yourself. Just let loose, talk to strangers, be yourself, let your personality shine through! Don't be afraid to make an *** out of yourself.. chances are, you're never going to see 99% of those people again, anyway.

I would personally never go to a bar by myself, but I'm a girl. I think it's okay for guys to go by themselves.

just go solo alot of men do that...you will possibly see some one you know ..just sit up at the bar..and start mingling!! it will be good for you to meet new people...its a fresh start for you and i bet you have fun!!

Just go to a bar that has a pool table and find people to play with.
Thats what i do when i go alone anyway.

if you never want to drink again don't go to the bars. if you never drank, where would you go, what were your other interests before you drank and start from there
