By consume I don't mean just drink. I mean things like washing dishes, doing laundry and taking a shower too.

Canada uses 1,600 cubic metres of water per person per year, which works out to 4.38 cubic metres per day, per person.

This is more than twice as much water as the average person from France, three times as much as the average German, almost four times as much as the average Swede and more than eight times as much as the average Dane.

around 290 litres a day for a house with a meter on it. and 430 litres a day for one with a flat rate (all you can use)
