there this guy i meet through my friend less then a week ago he was going to ask my friend out but hasnt - he told my friend's friend he was - she thinks he is going to ask her and she was not sure what she was going to say but i get the feeling he likes me and i really him - if he asks me out wat should i do?

I would stay away from that whole situation. It is not worth jeopardizing your friendship and how do you know he is not trying to use you to get to your friend? How can you like someone one week, and then like someone else the next? The guy sounds like he doesnt know what he wants, do you really want to get involved with that? Not worth it, find someone else who liked you first and went for it!

I think that if your friend likes him and you like him, you guys should talk it over. There is nothing wrong with you guys both having feelings for him, however to date him without talking to her first is just a little inconsiderate. Your friends are forever boys come and go, just keep that in mind
