Ok, I need your honest opinions. I'm 5'1", 130 lbs, and 35B-30-38, and pear-shaped. I want to slim down to where I used to be at 110 and 34B-24-35. I'm also a young 40 years of age. Do you think my goal is too thin for me? What weight and measurements do you think would look the best on me? Your advice is much appreciated!

I say, go ahead and lose the weight, but I'd pay more attention to your measurements and overall fitness, as opposed to simply the numbers on the scale. Muscle weighs more than fat, so your weight on the scale may not change very much, but when you start to lose fat, and gain muscle, you'll notice it in how your clothes fit.

At the very least, you'll get into a great habit of exercising on a regular basis, and that can only help as you age. A host of problems later on in life, can be avoided by proper diet and being fit.

I've heard it does get harder to lose the weight, and extra fat, after about 50 yo.

(and, by the way, I don't mean to be picky, but "loose" is the opposite of "tight". "Lose" is the opposite of "gain" or "win". In this case, you want to "lose weight".)

Have Fun!

I think that your weight goal is a good one and i no this is a question asking is you are flat around the chest area
but I think you might want implants to a D cup and that 30 waist of your given by your height you might wanna get that down to a 24 and your hips are not that wide if I were you now i'd be at a target of 34B-24-36

Everyone has different looks, if we didn't it would be so boring!, so you really need to think of how your most comfortable. Also try to remember that since your not considered overweight but about 10 pounds (if that), if you feel good health wise thats what counts. And I do think your goal of 110 is too thin. Good luck.

You sound like you are at a good weight. And your waist is below 32 inches which i believe is the 'official' healthy measurement. =] I wouldn't go below 110 unless you plan on getting there by eating healthfully 90% of the time and excercising, which most people don't do.

Don't worry there is a way for you...

1. Ask yourself what do you want in your heart.. Do you want to lose weight or do you want to be yourself...

2. If your heart said want to lose weight then just lose weight if your heart said don't want then don't lose weight...

3. The last and the most important thing is "BE YOURSELF" ^^
Good Luck To You!!

You already answered your question. if you want to slim down do it! I don't think your goals are unrealistic given your height.

You are at a pretty good weight, but it wouldn't hurt to lose a few pounds, but don't worry! your not overweight.
