my granny bought me a fleece robe and it itches like hell, what should I do with the robe

Fleece is normally very soft and comfy. Be honest with your Granny and maybe she can take it back and get you another type of robe.

If you can't return it to the store (without a reciept) and you need a robe try washing it and see if it still itches.

donate it to the Salvation Army
You may be allergic to that "polartech" kind of fleece, that is really a type of plastic. Stick w/ sweat-shirt kinds of fleece.

just tell her the truth about it itching and see if you can exchange it for something else
