Ok, my friend of about 2 years has resently become really close to me this year. He has started eating lunch with me and my friends (even though his arnt the same) and he makes it a point to sit beside me everyday. He carries my book from lunch to my new class for me. And truley, I have started to think of him as more than a friend but here is my question. Do you think he likes me just based on these facts or does it seem like he wants to be only friends? And also, should I let him know how I feel, or just let him lead the talking? Thanks

Let him lead or ask him what his real intentions are..the fact remains though, you will get an answer he wants you to hear if his intentions are not true. And if he's sincere, then you'll soon know.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

it sure sounds like that there is more to it than friendship i think with this guy your going to have to make the first move...even with the signs there guys are sometimes shy when asking someone out especially when he might think you only think of him as a friend...i would say your gonna have to make the forst move.....alot of good relationships started out as friends , i think he is to shy to ask you out so if you like him then i would say go for it!! and good luck to you!

Does he flirt with you at all? Make eye contact, compliment you, playfully bump into you or anything? It sounds like he could be interested in you.
