There will always be people who disagree with you. Just ignore the rudeness.

i know i was on here the other day and thought the same thing. if they are going to be rude why bother i don't get it. i do agree with some of the answers. people these days usually younger people have no manners. But you don't get a prize for answering so if you don't have anything helpful to say don't say it. To someone, someones question may sound stupid, but to the person that asked it,it's not so respect that.

I know that this is not an answer, but I just wanted to vent, too. I just asked for some help looking for a recipe on the internet and the first person to answer was rude and hurtful in her response. The thing is that my Dad is slipping into a coma and I have called in a Hospice Team to help with his last days so I wanted some help with finding a recipe to make something for the Hospice Team, that was all I was asking.

Gentle Questioner, You must understand that not everyone has been taught manners. These days, it seems to be the rare person who has been taught anything faintly resembling gentility. I'm not just saying table manors, although that would be a good start. These are people who want to participate, but don't know how. They wish to be included in the activity, whether or not they have anything to say. So, they make flippant, and sometimes crude, answers. I say, consider the source. So, don't let anyone annoy you. It isn't worth the effort.

Because some questioners (they're properly called questioners as asker isn't a real word) are asking for it by the way in which they phrase the question or by the question asked. Since the proper action is to answer the question in the spirit it was asked, then the responders are merely following proper etiquette.

I'm going to answer this question with a rude question of my own. Why do people have to ask such retarded questions like this one, when they already know that the world is full of jerks and know they're going to get a rude answer? Come on, did you actually think that you can ask a stupid question and not get a stupid answer?

well on some occasions it is the person who was asking the questions tone of voice when saying it, or the way in which they phrased it.

but in most occasions, it's people putting down other people to try and make themselves feel better.
or theyre trying to be cool in front of other people and they have no self values.

or both.
lol

Since you asked a question, the person is supposed to answer it... and maybe you should not asked the question.... write a note
it might just be the right answer

We have to take the good with the bad. This is a Question/Answer forum and everyone has the right to speak. It sometimes is very difficult to read some of the answers to our question at times but you must consider the source and go with it. So I can not agree with you that they should stay out. Good or bad everyone is welcome. If you like it fine if you don't then don't read it..........................................................
