whey protein powder and a multivitamin really....ive learnt (by experience) that most others are just a waste of money...you just need to ensure you're getting enough protein to heal your muscles, and a good multivitamin just for the sake of it.....i also take a zinc supplement to make sure my testosterone level is high enough, and a magnesium citrate (300mg) pill to relax muscles..dont bother with most of that fancy stuff....creatine will add some bulk though....but yeah, vitamin+protein would be adequate

Provided you're eating properly you shouldn't have to take anything. You haven't stated much detail about your work out.Are you weight lifting, running, doing aerobics or swimming?
Depending on the type and intensity of your work outs and your diet determines what you need.
Since you say you've just started I'd say just eat 5-6 small but nutritious meals every day.Eating more often like this decreases insulin sensitivity therefore it's less likely you'll raise your blood glucose too high when you eat. This can help prevent fat deposition in your adipose tissue. If you can add more details I can come back and edit.
