Wow No I would not consider it correct. I know people in this situation they came here from other parts of central America on their own at the risk of losing everything they own and their family.some of their friends lost their lives. All because of a need, whether it be because of poverty, abuse, lack of family or what ever It's the minors that suffer more. If they make it here they should be considered for amnesty.

That is the only sticky part in this whole thing.

I didn't bring the child here, the parents did. They knew they were coming in Illegally, they knew they could get deported, and they brought the child knowing the risks. That responsibility lays at their feet, not mine.

I do understand what you are saying. Children don't have choices, and should not be penalized for their parents actions.

Having said that, a deadline to obtain a citizenship is the best thing I have heard so far. 6 months, after that you are deported. It is a good compromise.

Josie, just because you are born in America doesn't make you an American. If you're parents are here illegally when they give birt to you you are also here illegally until you turn 18. That's the truth. If these people don't like American laws and the way America is run, they can leave.

If you were born in this country, you are a US citizen and cannot be deported. If you were very young when brought to this country and became a US citizen, you cannot be deported. If you were very young when you came to this country and are not a citizen, you can be deported. If you came to this country illegally, you should be deported. Do it legally and there is no problem.
