Just about anyone's stomach will be visually bigger after eating. Even in people who have perfectly flat stomachs. Once the food is digested fully the stomach would appear to be flat again.

Lots of water and plenty of cardio should do the trick. For those who don't know what cardio is...running, walking, or any physical activity that will increase your heart rate. The key is to keep your heart rate at a constant rate for more than thirty minutes. Now, sitting does not constitue keeping your heart rate at a constant rate. You need to exercise and doing situps wouldn't hurt. =)
Did you know that if you cut soda/coke/pop or whatever you wanna call it out of your diet completely, you will lose 5 pounds right off the bat. Cool huh? Try it and ye shall see. =)

Push yourself a little over when it hurts. Theres no real amount.

When you feel that pain, small tears are being created in your abs and as you let them rest (take a day to rest b/w workouts), they get repaired with more muscle. This is how you get a six pack.

Do about 3 sets of hurting sit ups every other day and you will get a great six pack!

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

You probably need to poop more....are you getting enough fruit, vegetables and fiber? And drinking enough water? Are you exercising enough to keep things moving? If you are not pooping at least once a day....you are not going enough. Do you have digestion issues? Maybe you need digestive enzymes. Did you know...if you don't eat enough...your colon doesn't clean out as well?...anyhow...will flat flat ever be flat enough for you?...Some reason I doubt it.

Sit ups aren't going to do a lick of good. You could do 500 sit ups a night and get nowhere.

Try aerobics. Try cardio. Try running.

30 to 50 sit-ups a day, and it would probably take 3 months more or less
