I am sick of bud light, coors light, whatever 'light'. Please help me find a good beer that doesn't leave to bad of an aftertaste and is relatively inexpensive.

Celis white or any Belgian wheat beet. Wheat beers are divine and can come in fruit flavors: cherry, raspberry, peach.

Leifmans makes the best but it is NOT cheap.

A good rule of thumb would be... If you can buy it at the grocery or a drug store, or if it's advertised on TV, it's piss. Bud Light? Coors Light? Hell, you're not even drinking actual "beer" anyway, unless you call fizzy, yellow, corn-flavored alcohol beer, that is.
Try a good microbrew! They range from mild and innofensive (hefeweizens and lagers) to strong and bitter (IPA's and American strong ales). My personal favorite is "Arrogant Bastard Ale" from the Stone Brewing Co. of California. No matter what you choose (unless it's some homey braindead thug "malt likker"!) it'll be FAR better than anything A/B, Coors, Corona or Miller brews. Cheers!

Well I like Bud Ice because it's got a good kick to it and I do not find it leaves much of an aftertaste. Warning: it does contain more alcohol than many American beers.

It depends where you live, because good beer is regional--you need to live near the brewery to get it fresh. So the good beers for me might be old and stale by the time they get to you. Also, you need to figure out what kind of beer you like because Miller Light has almost nothing in common with Guinness in terms of taste, texture, calories, alcohol content, and price. There are so many different types of beer that is hard to steer you in any direction without knowing what you like.

I recently found that Costco sells locally produced beer in cases for about $20 for 24 bottles. Here in Sacramento we have a local microbrew that is pretty good and I get fresh full bodied unfiltered beer from them at Costco for less than $1 per bottle.

Cheers!

Unfortunately american beers are the worse when it comes to good beers, but there are a few good ones. I always drink Heffeweisen. This is an unfiltered beer that really tastes like the Gods! Try it!

South paw, Labatt's Blue, Warsteiner, Sam Adam's Winter ale, Heineken. None of them have aftertaste to me... Try a vodka cooler if you aren't happy with beer.

I am in the restaurant business. Next to Coors light the best seller is Molson's Canadian.

Golden Monkey by Victory Brewing Company. Look for the colorful box with a monkey on it. Seriously, it is really good and virtually no after taste.
