You mean my "EX" in-laws? Lol...one of the best parts of a divorce, you get rid of the ex AND the in-laws! I believe that says it all, right?

I sure don't. I would have to say the in-law that makes me the maddest is my wife's father. He is a drunk and a pill popper that has the nerve to tell me how to run my life. There nothing more annoying then someone that can't control themselves trying to control you. The strange thing is a get along better with him then I do my mother in-law. lol. She just doesn't make me as mad. My wife also doesn't like my family either. Most people don't like their in-laws.

For the most part, I get along with my in-laws better than my own family LOL! However, the wife of one of my brothers-in-law is such a "smarty pants" and think she's better than everyone else, and commands attention by being extremely high maintenance, and keeps her husband away from his family. Someday I'm just going to slap her silly. I may become the black sheep of the family by doing it, but boy will it be fun!

I really wish I got along better with my MIL but there is that female competition thing. And we're both arrogant, stubborn asses. I also think I'm a huge thorn in her side.... my husband was the only boy raised around high maintenance mom, sister, cousins, and aunts, and while he chose a high maintenance wife, I'm still an obvious opposite amongst his clan. I think that subconsciously that was his way of showing his distaste for the obsessive vanity, lack of intellect, materialism and self involvement that runs rampant in the women of his family.

Gosh okay were do you even begin? My husbands mother is like married to me making sure that i do things her way. Then there is the grandma that complains about how everything is wrong. Shes also the one that calls like 12 times a day. Then there is the sister that thinks shes better then everyone else. I could go on for days.

My MIL and FIL passed away years before I met my husband. I live many states away from the rest of the inlaws. My husband doesn't talk to his siblings because they are all following a different path in life than we are. But when we do get news, I kiss the ground knowing they are a full days drive away from us!!!

I am now divorced but I talk to my mother in-law all time, we exchange birth gifts and Christmas gifts, I love this person. My father in-law is an a$$ hole. I haven't even seen him since the separation. Life can be good!

For the most part, my sister-in-law (married to my brother) drives me nuts... she is very selfish, rude, and obnoxious. However, my soon to be in-laws (fiance's parents) are decent. His mother can be a little pushy in trying to make things her way, but otherwise they're ok.

My in-laws live right next door and do not bother us at all. To be exact it is nice, someone to watch the kids if needed. My own family drive me bonkers ;)
