Because I just bought a Polaroid 20" LCD TV. And It does not has a HDMI plug spot. Please post if you know. :)

Do not panic, especially if your tv has a component jack setup, this is the next best hookup to HDMI, I've seen other totally HD tv's without HDMI, though most of the new have 1 and quite often 2.
I use it on my setup, but my brother elected not to and he still has a beautiful, sharp picture. From what I've been told, LG actually provides the screens for many of the Polaroids, don't fret just enjoy the experience!

No, it is available on any television capable of HD (720p or higher)

Your new tv is probably EDTV (Enhanced Definition Television). This means that it has a digital tuner, but is not actually capable of HD. If it is, well, not to fret. Not all televisions have HDMI slots. Typically a TV of 37 inches or larger will have it, but there are certainly exceptions.

first off that TV not hd, its Kmart special so hdmi wouldn't do any good like they say you can put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig hdmi is for any hd TVs it will up convert your your old DVDs to 720 p or 1080i with the DVD players that up convert with ahdmi cable
