Used to live in Clifton New Jersey back in the 1940's and maybe 1950's. Waardenburg is her maiden name. Her first married name was Tupker. This is a needle in a haystack, thought I'd try though.

There are various ways you can try this, and improve your chances of finding her.

One: if she's Jewish, check the Holocaust Registry. Even if she's a survivor, or a child of one, the geneology and other info gathered by Jewish geneologists might be useful.

Two: the Mormons have one of the best databases of geneology in the English speaking world. You might contact the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. They might baptise her posthumously, but hey, they will help you find her, whether she's alive or not.

Three: write to the county clerk for Clifton. You may have to go in person, and show id, but a good clerk will help you.

While you're doing that, if you encounter any info on Walter or his sister Elizabeth Creighton, please drop me a message by way of the comments to any of my questions, or send me an i.m. via this system, please. Walter Creighton was born near Atlantic City, N.J. From there he moved to Chicago. He later died, late 70's or early 80's, near Miami or St. Petersburg, FL.
