The correct sentence is "sE non aMmazza ingrassa" or "QUEL CHE non ammazza ingrassa" and it means "If it doesn't kill you, it makes you fatter".
It's an old Italian saying about food. In the past beeing fat was a good thing so it means that all food that don't kill you is good to eat, you don't have to bee too fussy.
This saying could be used also meaning "what doesn't kill you make you stronger".

it is in italian (but, attention, it is ammazza, with 2 m....and it's not si, which has other translations, but se)....and it means "if it doesn't kill, it makes getting fat".......i think it is used for good food....i use it for chocolate :-)

If one doesn't kill, one gets fat.
There is no "amazza" in Italian. Ammazzare means to kill.

ehehe..it's italian, but not the true italina..it's a dialectic lenguage, it is speak in the south of Italy..and it means..."if he doesn't kill he fatten"....bye
