It seems you really aren't sure whether you want a boyfriend or not. You should take some time off and really REALLY think about it. You should see if you are able to cope without one, maybe you really don't need one then.
Wanting someone close to you when you are lonely doesn't always mean you want a boyfriend, just someone to talk to, someone you can spend a lot of time with.
Either choice you pick, boyfriend or not should be the right choice for you, not just to say you have a boyfriend or something.
Good luck on your choice and make sure it is what you really want.

Trust me guys go through the same thing but it all depends on timing. You could be really busy with things and need some space, in other words be single. But you also want some lovin! I go through the same thing many times, but being single makes me independent and it shows that I can get what I want when I'm ready. Having a boyfriend does bring on stress but it can also be heartbreaking in the end. It also affects the guy as well. Sometimes I want a boyfriend and other times I don't. Just follow your heart on this one. Trust yourself to do the righ thing because you want to be happy and so does then guy. Timing is always the important thing!!! I hope I helped!!

You need to learn to be comfortable by yourself. It sounds like he's obviously not the right person for you... or you wouldn't have had the urges to leave the relationship before. Don't allow your fear of being alone to commit you to an unhealthy relationship.

My advice.. take up a new hobby... try something new and creative... Hang out with friends... Focus on yourself, things like trying new hair styles, make ups, read a new book, ect. Eventually, you'll end up with someone who is a better fit... Plus, along the way, you'll learn more about yourself... how to make yourself happy and have fun without relying on someone else.

Ok...IF having a boyfriend is stressfull...You have picked the wrong guy. Relationships should not be stressful. Beyond popular belief, you DON'T have to work at a relationship. IF you two are TRUELY compatible, everything will just click.
You really don't want to be single but you don't want to be in a stressful relationship either. Just find a guy that you're more compatible with and you'll see the change in your pattern.

My ex was exactly the way you are. What you need is a lot of time to your self. Its really mest up that you kept dumping your boyfriend, worse on him that he kept going back. Be single for a while and evaluate what you want to do as far as relationships go. You cant keep dating then dumping guys, thats really unfair and selfish.

well ... you dont have to break up with someone to go out with your friends. you could also say to this person that you wish to only be together a few days a week. does this person do things that make you wish you were single? like being a jerk to you and stuff like that? maybe the fear of being alone is the issue and being with someone is better then having to feel this.

I understand your dilemma, but you are not the only one affected by your decision. Please think of his feelings too. Try asking him if maybe you guys could just date and still see other people. If you don't like that idea, just try some alone time and sort out your true feelings before you really end up hurting him. Karma is a B!@#$

stay single! you're having enough trouble figuring out what you want, adding a boyfriend just makes thing worse, because it's 2 people's emotion's at risk of being hurt.

He also might get sick and tierd of it all and decide to dump you for once, and then, you'll be sadder than you already are.

figure out what you want, and then do it!

Which one has the ultimate character & love for you? do no longer chase the single you like and forget with regards to the single that enjoyed you. you will remorseful approximately it. I say persist with the guy your with nonetheless through fact how do you be attentive to the different guy ought to be with you? human beings say 'persist with your heart' yet persist with your head quite often and a tiny little bit of your heart regardless of the undeniable fact that that does no longer mean decide for the single that seems the ultimate. Its what interior that counts. decide for the single that treats you the ultimate.
