call the dmv or poliece with the vin number if it is stolen please turn in whoever has it we all need them off the streats

look at the vin if it is a newer car it is in the front window but if it is gone that's Ur first clue and also look in the door it usually says the kind of car and type and year if that is scratched that's another clue that the car is stolen and if the Vin is still there look the Vin up on carfacts.com good luck

The vehicle could be impounded. If you call the police station where the vehicle was taken from with the VIN number they can tell you. Tow companies are given one hour to call the vehicle in or they get in trouble.

If you call the local police and give them the vin, they can tell if it is stolen or not. If it isn't they will tell you no, if it is, they will want more information.
