I used to think so. In 1970 when I was just 18, I got in a fight with two guys three times my size and one threw me up on the hood of my car a 1959 Ford Galaxy and started choking me telling me he was going to kill me while the other one was about to hit me in the face with a baseball bat and I passed out and I thought I saw my whole life pass by me. I thought I was dead.

I still remember that as if it was yesterday. I don't know if my life really passed by me or if I was jut thinking about my life very fast, but that is what happened.

I don't believe in heaven or hell anymore. I am wiccan now and I believe in reincarnation until we have learned all the lessons we are meant to learn then on to the Summerland.

Yes, there are numerous reports of people who have had this experience, usually people whose heart stops. They begin to see heven, Jesus, the whole 9 yards, and are sent back.
"Beyone Death's door" is an old book written by a doctor, and he explains why dying brians are not an explanation.

Dude, learn to type....

When you die, your brain begins to show images (the tunnel of light) but this has been done under controlled situations (pilots in high-g centrifuges)

There is no heaven, live every single day.

well, the last time i died, i saw a bright orange flash and a long tunnel with a white light at the end of it. of course i believe in heaven--it's in the sky and takes a very very very very long time to get there because we float up to it. if rockets get to our outer planets in years, imagine how long it takes to float to heaven when our telescopes can see millions of light years away and light moves pretty fast and far in just one second, eh?
Peace

I don't know if your life flashes before you or not but i do believe in Heaven, please read the Bible (King James) version. Look in the book of Revelation, it is the last book in the Bible (new testament)...

When the brain is dying, I'm sure you see many things. No, Heaven doesn't exist.
