When the sun hasn't been shining, go to a tanning salon and ask for the bed that isn't for the purpose of tanning but is for the purpose of sunlight. Where I live it costs about $6.00 and is well worth the money. In addition, you might want to get some anti-depressants for the winter to help with what seems to be seasonal affect disorder. This is a common disorder and is easily treated. Don't spend each winter being miserable.

You need a one of three things;
Relocate to a warmer area .
Learn self control, and learn to live with nature's natural changes in the seasons. Find other things which interest you that can be done during winter. Things like reading, poetry, writing short stories night walks when you can. Maybe bury yourselfin something you 've never done like an online course, music or language lessons.
Or just get laid. That always helps.

I try to cope, like days with sunlight I open the windows and let the light in, sometimes this helps. Opening the blinds/curtains seem to help a little. If it becomes a real problem, seek professional help, this may help as well.

I think you should let your friends in on this. They need to know that the weather really puts you in a bad mood. As far as getting help, I'm not quite sure what to do. Maybe find someone to talk to about it. Maybe a therapist or something.
Good luck, buddy.

i've got lived in Boston my complete existence, so sh*tty wintry climate climate is something i've got been coping with constantly. It in no way fails, mid Feb rolls around and that i start to get moody and depressed. It sucks. the ultimate way i've got discovered for paying for via it somewhat is to maintain your self as busy as conceivable. take in hobbies, bypass out as frequently as you are able to, see an astounding sort of flicks, in spite of it takes. Do in spite of it takes to get via. Then, before you be attentive to it, spring will ultimately be right here.

If you get it that bad, have you ever thought of moving to another climate? It might be better for you, not to mention your friends. LOL
