JESUS is the way. Many people you call good are good on there own accord. You must be born again in order to make heaven your home. Peace to all :)

Yes there are good people in Hell. Being good is not what keeps some one from going to hell or getting one into heaven.
Here is a simple test, I like to call it the Good Test.
1. Have you ever told a lie? Doesn't matter how big or small. What does that make you?
2. Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter. What does that make you?
3. Jesus taught that if you look upon someone in lust that you have committed adultery in your heart. Have you ever lusted?
4. Jesus taught that if you hate someone that is equal to murder. Have you ever hated anyone?
Those are just 4 of Gods laws and I have broken everyone of them. What about you?
No amount of good that you can do will ever make up for those crimes and one day you are going to have to stand before a Holy God. How will be judged? Payment will have to be made and with our crimes before God and once found guilty, how will you pay?
Payment will be made one of two different ways. If you think that you can say but what about all the good things I have done? Well how does that stand up in a court of law?
Sure judge I rape that person but look at all the other good things I do. Do you think that would keep one out of prison? So it will be when we stand before a Holy God. I can't pay the price required but someone has. That someone was blameless yet stood in my place and took the punishment for me, died for me that I might me found acceptable before God. Jesus paid that price and all I have to do is first to believe. (more came later)
But no amount of good buys my way into heaven but it is a gift paid with a heavy price. Those that choose to accept have that assurance those that don't, well.
Each one of us makes that choice alone and alone we will answer for it. For me I can't pay the price that will have to be paid. The real question, can you?

No! The only people in hell are those who refused to accept Jesus as their savior. Salvation is a free gift and is offered to everyone therefore everyone has the option to either acept or reject Gods' offer of eternal life. The Bible is clear on this issue as the Lord concludes that all are under sin. We are all born physically with a condition in us known as sin and it is that condition which eventually sends us to hell. We can not justify ourselves by our works before the Lord as it is not treating the actual condition. The Lord has made a way open for every one to be born again. Please read John Ch.3 where the Lord is talking to Nicodemus and explains that flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of God as it is totally corrupt. If any one goes to hell it is by their own choice.

Many people who believe they were good are in hell and many who believe they are good will go to hell
Because the only way to Heaven is through Jesus, a true relationship with him, a heart devoted to him.
Faith saves and good works show others that we are saved.

It tells us in the Bible that we cannot go to Heaven just for "good works", or because we are good and nice people. We must confess our sins and believe that Jesus died for our sins. We must ask Him to save us from Hell. We must ask Jesus to come into our hearts and confess that Jesus Christ is King. Then we are assured of a place in Heaven. So, yes, there will be a lot of "good" people in Hell. Bless you!

According to a lot of Christians, it doesn't matter how good you are. You could be a replicate of Mother Theresa, you could feed starving children in third world countries, you could be so sweet and nice that you would even make Mr. Rogers sick---but if you haven't gotten down on your knees and asked Jesus into your heart, you're going to Hell where you will be tortured, punished, and made to live in absolute misery for all eternity. All your righteousness are as filthy rags, they say.
Personally, I find that a little hard to believe. That would be saying that none of the good things you do--regardless of their magnitude--matter unless you say a ten second prayer asking Jesus into your heart. I'm not saying it definitely isn't true, it just doesn't seem quite right.

Well, I believe that there is good in everyone, but not everyone goes to Heaven. So, yes, I would say that there are good people in hell. In the story of Creation the Bible said that God looked at everything and saw that it was good....therefore all that God created was good, but we sometimes choose to do bad things...that does not make us bad. But, if you do not repent for the bad choices we make we cannot enter Heaven...the Bible says that nothing unclean shall enter Heaven.
God bless,

This is an interesting question.I suppose there would have to be.I know alot of really good that are not christian, and if you go according to there believe if your not converted you go to hell. well that is the way it is. I however would like to think that if your heart is pure then there is achange for retripution.

Not yet. hell is not open for business.... but when it is there will be many there who were concidered "good people" by mortal standards. That has nothing to do with the reason they are to be seperated from God( in Hell)... the only thing that will cause any one to end up there is rejecting God. If you reject God God will reject you.

Nope, because in order to get into hell you have to reject God... and that doesn't mean being an atheist, it means totally rejecting justice, truth, and love. At least, that's my understanding of it.
