The other day I walked out of Walmart and heard a beep but thought nothing of it.But then I have like this 80 yearold midget running after me like I stole something..Has this ever happend to you..and Why do they give the "Greeting" job to like people who look like they are retarded.

First of all, the incorrect term is not "midget" nor is it "retard". And usually when you do hear a beep, an person who did not steal anything would go back and willy have them examine their bag. It doesn't take a retard to know this. God, I hate ignorant people who talk that.

If you set off an alarm you are carrying something with a security device that has not been deactivated. It's their job to investigate any alarms. If you have your receipt that you actually paid for it, there is no problem. Shop lifting costs companies millions over a year and the only way they can make up the loss is to raise their prices for everything else. I would rather show a receipt for something I legitimately bought and pay less.

Lol that's promotional. Old people, disabled people, it's all part of a "Look at us, we're Walmart, and we love you!" type scheme to get people to think they're more family-friendly.
It's never happened to me. I didn't get chased down, I just froze and then the lady walked up to me and asked if she could look through my bags. Maybe it's different in Australia, mainly because we don't have Walmart, but there seems to be a lot more trust, everywhere.

No, no longer possibly. yet, I surely have experienced the place this one particular Walmart had a greeter who often did no longer greet in any respect to anybody as she replaced into 0.5 asleep lots of the situations. i think of she replaced into affected by some ailment or some thing.

Well to tell you the truth your AVATAR looks like you could be the midget wal-mart greeter. So take a look at yourself and let me break the walls on the glass house you live in. I haven't had this happend to me.
But i'd seen this happend. And they are not retarted. They are doing their job! Its part of their job description. Live with it. So what if he's a midget he's just a regular person like you and me. Most people don't care about how small or people look like apparently you do. They hire people who are qualified to do the job.

I haven't been chased down but my brothers friend used to work there and they are required to chase down people they perceive as thieves, in my opinion they don't pay there employess enough to chase down anything, apparently they only hire retarded stalkers to work there my brother said his local wal-mart had a sign up that they were only hiring gays and lesbians the other day so maybe they are trying to improve the situation.

Hahahaha I haven't been actually chased down before there, but I've seen it happen to other people. And yeah they do give the greeting job to mentally challenged people a lot. I guess they need a job too! And that one they can handle.

yes...it's so irritating...they demand to see your reciept because the cashier didn't properly scan an item so that the security tag wouldn't set off the alarm...wal-mart has the absolute worst customer service...once i asked a worker where in the store i could find a certain item and she actually rolled her eyes at me......for awhile i thought about getting a job at wal-mart just to see how rude i could be to customers before getting fired

They didn't think you stole anything. It is their job to check all persons bags when leaving the store. Don't take it personally.
If it had been at Sears, a security guard might have tackled you and knocked you down. I've seen it happen.
