Do Jesus and the Father not have the same heart?
God is referred to as having a face before Jesus ever came.
Did God not speak in an audible voice before the 1st century? And it didnt say he did it by the Holy Spirit.
I would characterize the church as Gods house full of his children, not his hand. If anything is his hand its perhaps Jesus but God has dealt with humanity directly before Jesus came.

I agree with everything except "the hand of God is the church". I disagree because "the church" usually equals "religion" and who's to say which religion has it right? Nowadays it seems most churches are about politics and power and I think God has, sadly, been lost in them. I would find it more accurate to say "The hand of God is the congregation" because congregation by definition is "an assembly of people for a given purpose", in this case, God and worship.
