Seems to me everybody from Mexico has decided on Spainsh is the language they want to use and have no interest in English at all. We are spending billions for it in schools and hardly any master it. Look at the stat scores. 99.9% of illegal aliens fail the english test. Dispite being in school 12 years. Illegal aliens here for a better life why then do they drop out school at a very high rate and at a young age like most are 16-17.They have kids and look forward to 18 years of free money and government services. .

Low IQ's? They think the age of consent is about 12 years old. They start having babies at about 13 and have one every year or two until they are about 25. They get welfare, subsidized housing, free medical. Those kids get free education, free lunches, Spanish speaking teachers (which only stifles them from learning English).
All that free stuff is not 'free'.

It costs US, the citizens of the USA, BILLIONS ANNUALLY!!

This abuse needs to STOP!

Our borders need to be closed!

Illegals need to be deported!!

Stop hiring illegals!!

No more federal assistance to illegals!!

No free or low cost medical care!!

No more citizenship for babies
born on USA soil, unless at least ONE of the parents is a legal citizen.

ok remind me again are you talking about children of illegals or kids in general? because last time i check statistics there was a high highschool drop out rate but it was with all ethnicities.the problem being that not enough emphasis is put into education.most kids are passed from grade to the next because they teachers don't care and just wish to get them out of their class.and add to that the fact that many become fathers or mothers before they even reach 18 yrs of age.don't blame the illegals for the fact that nowadays people are to selfish to help take care of their own country's children.what happened to the old saying of "it takes a whole village to raise a child".now its easier to just let the school system raise them and turn a blind eye to seeing this country's next generation going down the drain.and ur a perfect example of that,u would rather have uneducated kids running around the streets than at least encouraging them to stay in school.because wether u wish to admitt it or not most of those kids are american citizens though their parents may not be and they are this country's future.

Every day, the PC nut bags around us are removing more and more incentives for any foreigner to learn our language.

All public places and retail establishments, as well as product labeling, instructions and ATM machines as well as almost any customer service telephone call are bi-lingual. Television SAP is invariably in Spanish.

If this were true in other countries, would you be so inclined to learn the language if you moved there - especially if the people you congregate with also spoke English?

It's interesting to note that English is a prerequisite for citizenship - what does that say about their aleged willingness to become an American citizen?

It's amazing that in the voting booth on the computer you have to choose to vote in Spanish or English!!!

If you are an American citizen why on earth would you be voting in Spanish???

It's just absolutely disgusting what is happening to our great country. When are Americans going to wake up?

It's not working because we're sending Mexican immigrants mixed signals. We spend ridiculous amounts of money on English classes, but we PRINT EVERYTHING IN SPANISH. This country is falling apart.
