You said "I don't see Karma in this world, I don't see justice either, except if I take control and perform it myself. "
Yet, when you are taking controle and performing you are doing a "Karma". Literally "Karma" means "action". And for better or worse there are sure to be some consequences.
Karma is not attached to your physical self. Its soul, which carries load of karma through out its journey till its union with Supreme.
" Worn-out garments Are shed by the body:
Worn-out bodies Are shed by the dweller. "
- (Bhagavad-Gita, II:22)
You are free to view Karma in your own way. different philosophers authors have expressed as they saw it:
"The law of Karma postulates that in this world there are no rewards or punishments; it is simply a case of inevitable consequences. As you sow, so shall you reap. Sometimes others reap what you have sown. There is an interlinking and inter-connection all round and at every level, in time and in space. No one lives, or can possibly live, in isolation. The past is linked to the future, the world to the next, men to their fellow-men, thoughts to actions, actions to reactions, the living spirits to the departed ones. The law of karma governs all."
(source: India's Priceless Heritage - By Nani A. Palkhivala 1980 p. 32-33).
The soul continues this journey with a heavy load of Karmas, (good or bad) until it exhausts all Karmas by undergoing pain or pleasure sensations in the body. God does not punish us. There is no such thing as being cursed. Our destiny is in our own hands.
For many of us , Karma is a rational explanation for inequalities among human beings which cannot be given. The possibility of rebirth makes death more acceptable.
It makes me easy for me to accept situations , which I dont like but I find myself caught into.... It also gives me hope, that If I do things right way this time , I will make it through. It makes it easier to be on moral path even if tougher....
Best thing is the idea that Karma, like gravity, treats everyone the same. After all, even God is bound by the law of Karma once He takes human form.Krishna was killed by a hunter. He was obeying the law of Karma, the unwritten law of the Universe.
It is not important for what fault you got punished.... The idea is that soul knows it.... Important is that you avoid what is deemed wrong ... Just follow your dharma and it will turn out fine. Its really very simple...............
"Dharma is eternal; life, its joys and sorrow are not. Do not give away the eternal for the temporal values of life."
Do not to others what ye do not wish
Done to yourself; and wish for others too
What ye desire and long for, for yourself — This is the whole of dharma — heed —it well.
— Veda Vyasa, The Mahabharata
Karma based on Dharma that is the way. Hindus do not say to do just "Karma"... We use the phrase "Dahrma Karma".....Often it is lost in translation somewhere.
PS: Krishna said
"Karmanyvadhikaraste ma phaleshukadachan.."
i.e. the only thing in our controle is, is (our) Karma(act), its Fruit(results) are not. So do our best and leave the rest in hands of God. At least , this way we have the satisfaction that we tried. Inaction , laziness are considered as bad Karma.
Krishna suggested a true "Karma Yogi" works selflessly (Nishkam Karma). Do your dharma without selfish expectations.........Simple but really tough.
"Karma Yoga" is still best path, generally advised by all kinds of great men, even if wordings are different or they are considered Devine or not.

Souls that can make choices in the material world... namely humans are subject to karma.
That's why you see so many people in different circumstances
Paris Hilton vs a poor Haitian peasant, etc, etc.
Animals don't make choices, they live by instinct and have a fixed set of behaviors... a wolf kills because that's what wolves do, etc.
So, among animals species, animals all look the same.
Even so further down the food chain, to virus and bacteria
One Penguin looks like another, one Border Collies looks pretty much like other, etc.
So Karmic reaction does not apply to animals so much.
However, a rich person's dog or cat is going to have a better life than a stray in India so karma is at play there too.
In our lives an if you rob a bank, you're probably going to get a instant karmic reaction.
Trust me a very sinful person on this earth may have lots of wealth but the ability to enjoy has been removed.
Kind of like having a great meal but having lost one's taste.
If you want to find out more about karma I humbly suggest you check out the Hare Krishna web sites or better yet a local temple.
The Buddist have karma figured out pretty well too, but don't have the aspect of God in the mix.
Hope that helps.

What else is the reason that some people suffer from unexplained diseases ? why all children of a couple, living in the same environments, given the same genetical code...live totally different life? Why some intelligent people live like paupers and some idiots acquire wealth without any labour ?
Why a son of a carpenter becomes a prophet? certainly not due to genes
Like the laws of Energy, the karam can not be destroyed and needs to be nullified by its fruits. If I do bad..I must get back bad results is the real law of karma
If we dont remember...that does not make us pure! We dont remember our days in the womb...so if someone asks for proofs that you were in the womb?
If I commit a murder under alcohol influence...and later tell the police i dont remember that I killed will they spare me?
Our present mind does not remember why we are suffering, but our soul inside knows very well the sufferings and the reasons behinds that...and prepares us for our next lesson....keeping in view the bad karma and its results.

Of course there's no proof of it. Essentially its just a natural conclusion of the principle of caulasily. I beleive in karma, however, I don't believe its something supernatural, simple that by doing unskillful actions,l you will create bad mental states in your mind, meaning that you will be in the corect frame of mind to experience bad effects, and vice versa. Kind of complicated, but thts my belief.
Also, according to the buddhist viewpoint, disabilities aren't necessarily the result of bad karma, as there are many levels of causality acting, including biological, physical, psychological, karmic and dharmic,

Karma does exist - I was disabled! but im not now because I have changed me!
watch the film the secret at When you undestand how creation is connected then you are able to understand how we come to grow spiritualy. Karma forms a part of that.

I don't find any proof of Karma, just reasons for the state of things.

Because there is actually no such thing as the past there can be no such thing as karma. In physical reality time appears to be linear when time is really just all now. If all time happens now then there can be no such thing as cause and effect, hence no karma.

if karma is cause and effect, then it would have to be real because for every action there is reaction seems like simply logic
to me .as far as paying for past lives time will tell.
