The best thing to do is realize that when relationships are meant to be, they will be. They are reciprocal, and the other person could have also told you how they felt. If it is truly too late, don't dwell on it and move on. Remember that relationships work both ways and you don't have to put all of the pressure on you to express your love. There will be another love in your life and you will know when it is love, especially when it is felt by each of you. Yes, in my lifetime I have loved "from afar" and kept it inside and not shared it. Perhaps I should have, but I think my instincts told me it wasn't felt by the other person, so I kept quiet. The right person eventually showed up. Remember that each person you care about teaches you what qualities you want in your life mate, so even though it didn't work out and you are depressed, use that as a positive tool to find great qualities in the next person. You will find that person!

Something like that...that's hard to get over. When you really, truly love someone, there's always going to be part of you that will always feel that way. Even if you force yourself, you're not going to forgot all the times you spent with that person. You're never going to forgot all the great times you had and all those times you wish you had. Everyone has those "it's too late" moments and when you finally get the courage to speak up, that person either doesn't feel that way or have moved on to something else. It's tough to "get over" it. It's nearly impossible. For myself, it's been months, and I still think about it. And I haven't spoken to that person since. Now, that person is nothing more than a memory.

well he just isn't your type if he was like that even though he's taken he could have given you a nice time so he doesn't break you heart but too late so you should find someone who is nicer and more appreciative

ITS NEVER TOO LATE FOR TRUE LOVE. YOU JUST HAVE TO TAKE THE CHANCE AND LET HIM KNOW THAT YOU STILL CARE FOR HIM AND IF HE DOESNT FEEL THE SAME THEN YOU START THE MOVING ON PROCESS.. TAKE CARE AND GOOD LUCK.
