i have an hdtv monitor from dish network (RCA d40w20), and the screen is slightly shifted to the left thus showing black bar on the right and the picture appears as zoomed-in thus cropping the top and bottom (and left, not right since the right side is already misalign too much too the left)

i tried the auto-convergence from the setup menu but it didn't fix the problem. anyone out there know the answer to my problem?

thanks in advance

yes, this is a 3-tube screen, so are you saying that there's no controls that can adjust the horizontal position/height/width, as well as vertical position/height/width.

also do u know where i could find such technician?

This set is apparently a three-tube projection TV. Are the colors (red, blue, green) aligned even though the picture is shifted? If they are, then the only thing I can think of that can cause the problem is a shift in the optical system. In any case, only a qualified technician with the service manual for the set can fix it.
